| Does Hays have any sort of dog park? We have been watching a ton of The Dog Whisperer lately, and I think our dogs would really benefit from a place like that. | |

| There is a dog park in Hays and it seems its my front yard. I don't know how many "piles" i have seen accumulate in my front yard from people walking their dogs. I guess I need to start lining my yard of ex-lax that way the dogs can move on to another yard and leave their "piles". | |

| I didn't think dogs were forbidden in any Hays park. Or do you mean a special place for dogs only? I've never seen a dog park, but it brings up visons of fake fire hydrants, carpet runs to drag butts across, lots of plastic legs for the amorous pup, a big tub of cat poo for the gourmets, and of course decaying skunk carcasses and fresh cow plops for lots of rolling pleasure. | |

| Basically it is a very large fenced in area that you can allow your dog to come in and run with other dogs, play etc. | |

| Are there even any fences around playgrounds anymore? How about the ball diamonds?Once a few pups made deposits it could give a whole new meaning to a slide. | |

| Hays spends money to block our view of traffic, er I mean beautify Vine street with trees, why not close off a piece of ground for dogs? Maybe Chelsea Clinton could even "speak" during the grand opening and bite the ribbon in two. | |

| Oh crap.. Right this minute there's a dog named "Chalcy" on Animal Planet. Yeah NB, I was wondering who'd scoop all the poop, and mow and such. | |

| I would imagine you would be expected to pick up after your dog as you are in most parks now. City would mow. And paint the hydrants. And patch the postman. | |
