Who turned out the lights???

I thought you had to have lights on flags in order to fly them at night. The lights on 13th and Hall have been shut off for at least a couple of weeks. They did put a street light on the corner but it doesen't light up the flags. Rate hikes getting to the city? LOL

Speaking of who turned out the lights. Is the Dillons on Vine trying to save energy, the past couple of times I have went by there at night their parking lots lights and their was off. At first I thought they were closed but they were still open.

I was at dillons a week or so back and their parking lot lights were on in the middle of the day

I doubt the flag will notice.

I see alot worse things happen to flags. Some leave them up 24/7 in all weather till they are faded and shredded.

I used to keep a flag folded up (in a square) in my underwear drawer. Haven't seen it in a while... might have thrown it way. Or maybe it's in a box in the basement.

I still put a flag out on Memorial day, The 4th, Veterans Day, and Flag Day mostly because there's a few old WWII vets and some good friends who were in Vietnam still around here. I don't get into the flag worship, and if you want to wear one "as" underwear it's no skin off my nose. But I treat mine better than alot of so called patriots do.

Nothing wrong with that Blackie. There's a guy in Ellis that used to fly the US flag until Obama was elected. Then he took it down and put up a Confederate flag. Wonder what he's sayin there? LOL
