I think the Saudis knew for sure since I think wealthy Saudis funded it. I think Israel knew and both they and the Saudis saw it as a way to get the US to fight their battle with Saddam. He was a competitor to the Saudis and shot scuds at Israel. The both wanted him gone and I suspect they both hyped the threat of Iraq.

I wouldn't be surprised if Israel fabricated and supplied GW with much of the supposed intelligence on Iraqs chemical weapons. I'm not anti-Jewish, but I'm very suspicious of the Zionists in Israel. As I say, they were quite willing to watch their bretheren die before to advance the state of Israel.

I'm with you. My point being there is no conspiracy, no skeletons in the closet. From the Air Traffic Control standpoint the is no specualtion, only cover up. The entire industry is based on detailed awareness. Nothing slides by that the U.S. government doesn't expressly forbid civilian controllers from knowing.

Since Isreal was founded by post WWII powers, I don't understand this statement.

Palestine was promised to the Jews in the Balfour agreement in 1917. Jewish immigration into Palestine increased from the 20's until Israel officially became a state. Zionists in Britain as well as in Palestine fully intended to take all of Palestine as a Jewish homeland years before WWII had even begun.

Alot of the current Jew/Arab hostility stems from those times. After the pro-zionist Brits decided the Jews needed Palestine they began moving in and contrary to the agreements they refused to give jobs and other rights to arabs. I think we'd see a different scenario between Israel and the arab world had the Israelis went in and worked fairly per conditions in the Balfour agreement.

The hostilities go back a hell of a lot further than that.

I know there's been centuries of conflict EP. Never meant to imply there wasn't. That's why I said alot of the "current" hostility is over events since the Balfour agreement.
