Route 67601 Easter background easy on the eyes.

I still need to find out how the Easter Egg hunt went at NEW last night from a friend. As holidays are ranked at the KMAYX studios, it seems Christmas is followed by Easter, and in third position is Halloween, followed by (decoration day) Memorial day.

Just for the record, my heathen self rates the holidays in this order....

#1 Halloween and Christmas are about tied, but I think I might prefer Halloween.

#2 July 4th ..... Colorful explosives are hard to beat.

#3 Memorial Day.... It's spring break for those who don't really get one.

#4 Thanksgiving.... A day off

#5 Labor Day.... A day off.

#6 Easter.... Kids like it so it's not totally worthless.

Any other holidays only give someone who gets the day off a chance to laugh at those of us who don't, therefore have no meaning.

Before anyone pouts, I figure Veterans Day, Presidents Day, and any other "patriot days" need to be rolled into one and done on July 4th and get it over with.

Except when the city moves the colorful explosives to the 5th as they have done this year. Which really might not be that bad as we will be able to set all of ours off on the 4th and still watch the cities on the 5th, I guess. Just doesn't feel right that they moved the cities to the 5th though.
