tv issues

I was needing some input on a tv problem i'm having. I go through Eagle Comm for cable service and I am having a problem with channels 2-6. The channels are flickering and its impossible to watch them. Anyone else having this problem??? I have check all my cable connections to make sure they are good. I have even went to the extreme of the running the cable directly to my tv instead of the VCR just to make sure and it still does it. I just want to see first if anyone else is having problems before I call Eagle. I just hope it isn't my tv going out.

I have Eagle Comm for my cable service and I do not have those problems, sorry.

does the screen go black and read unusable signal?

Its an Eagle issue. I got out an old tv and hooked it up and its doing the same thing. I guess Eagle will be getting a call from me.

Yes it's an Eagle thing. Same channels come in crappy here.

Dish Network FTW! It does suck that my "local" channels are Wichita though.

The Wichita stations are considered local here. Its all we get, Wichita has a CBS satellite here but they dont believe in giving out news that happens here only the garbage that goes on in thier precious town. Like I want to hear about the lastest gang bangs going on at the hotels on Broadway. I want to hear the news for around here like when one of the local chermans is saddened by the loss of his dog Duke or HIV is running around again campaining for city commission.

Guess you don't get to watch Mike Cooper in the morning or watch ECTV "Street Beat." Bet that makes you sad.

I've had DirecTV for quite a while now and love it. I originally went with it because the Avalanche had switched from Fox Rocky Mountain to Altitude Network, which wasn't carried by Eagle. But the clarity of the signal, especially the local channels, is unmatched by any cable system. And this past year, we had NFL Sunday Ticket, which is football paradise.

It pisses me off when I read the listings on the different MTV and VH1 channels and see all kinds of things I'd like to watch that we don't get, but the crap on the MTV and VH1 that our cable service provides only appeals to blacks, gay guys, and 5th grade girls.
