The first one is my son, then he "narrates" as he operates the camera.
He said he just about crapped himself with the first round.

Kinda comical watching grown men nervous about shooting a gun, but they seemed to like it. I have rifles not everyone likes shooting too.
The strongest handgun I saw in the 70's was a custom made 460 Weatherby revolver that weighed 12 pounds. Now the .460 is not uncommon. The 460 rifle round is an elephant round and they reduced case size for the revolver, but it still dwarfed a .45 colt sit next to it. During tests with the revolver they set water cans on cinder blocks and shot at them with 4 kinds of pistol rounds. A .38 made a hole in the can. A .357 mag split the can wide. A .44 mag tore hell out of the can and sent it flying. The .460 Weatherby not only tore the can apart, it broke the cinderblocks it sat on. The 500 is stronger yet.
I have shot a .454 Casull and it'll sting the hand. You can shoot .45 rounds in a .454 revolver and it was funny how we'd fire the .45 rounds at an old wash machine about 75 foot away and then hear the impact after the shot. The .454 was so much faster that the impact was too fast to hear it.

It is kinda funny. My kid specializes in 5" ammo, so seeing him giggle like a girl over this gun, just cracks me up. I'm just glad he's not stupid like guy #2 (Regan), "I'm not looking down the barrel". Sure looked like it to me.

When I was 12 two of my sisters crazy friends made me play Russian Roulette while they were stoned and drunk. Well, sort of. They took turns pointing it at me and pulling the trigger. It was a .45 and to this day I have no idea if they had a live round in it. Maybe not, but I don't know because I refused to look straight at it when they'd pull the trigger.
I remember a guy in town who shot a hole through his TV because Ayatollah Khomeini was on. He was stoned and forgot his gun was loaded.

I have a friend who has a S&W 500 mag. I fired it three times and that was enough for me. It is not a gun for everyday fun shooting

Havn't tried a 500. The .454 Casull stings the hand, but I didn't mind shooting it.

He wants to, and he'd do alot more if he gets his way.
