| As a non-Catholic myself, I probably would have no idea, either. | |

However, as Secretary of State, you would expect her to do her homework, especially since she claims to have been there previously.

I was raised Catholic and didn't remember the story about how the piece came about. Maybe Hill should have been briefed about it before she visited the shrine, though, to avoid this kind of publicity.

| The Virgin of Guadalupe is a significant cultural and religious image for Mexicans. On December 12, 1531 a dark skinned Virgin appeared to a Mexican peasant named Juan Diego. She identified herself as the true Mother of God, instructed him to build a church in her name, and left her image on a piece of cloth as proof of her claim—thus was born the legend of our Lady of Guadalupe. Saint Juan Diego is credited with being one of the major reasons Mexico is 85% Catholic today. The Virgin is the patron saint of Vallarta as well as all of Mexico. From this website. | |

| So, when you look at things from a scientific perspective, Xenu trapping a bunch of spirits to become what we know as humans makes about as much sense as this.
My question is, why do christians have such a hard time with scientologists?

My question is, why do christians have such a hard time with scientologists? I have pondered that question myself/ They both believe in a fake "sky person"

When she made the comment about them having a marvelous virgin, I could just picture some Mexican in the crowd saying, "What?!! I thought I sold all the virgins in this town!"
