Braun's Catfish Pond

Does anyone know how to get a hold of this catfish pond, this is somewhere near Walker, KS, you catch them, they clean them and you pay by the pound? Anyone ever hear about this place?

I've heard of it. It's just right off of I-70 I believe. They do clean them and you have to pay, not sure if its by the pound or not. I heard its a good place. We've always wanted to go but never made it yet!

I also remember going to a place to fish off a bridge, seemed like it was somewhere around Gorham or Victoria, off Old 40, don't know if this is the same place or not. That was too long ago.

Used to be an excellent bass pond near Victoria in the early 70's but the dam washed out and it was never the same after. Back when Alco had it's fishing contest I got a largemouth bass there that I wanted to enter in the contest, but we got to Alco 15 minutes after closing on the Sunday the contest ended. On Monday the guy in sporting goods told me and dad that my fish would have won. The very next weekend my dad caught a bass nearly as good there.

We've used Braun's a couple of times, he's got everything you need right there (bait, tackle, etc), you can even rent the polls. They charge by the pound, different rates for catch and if you want him to clean them. Pretty painless, my type of fishing. I can't remember the price.
