Really? I'll grant you that $167 Million is a drop in the bucket, compared to the $170 Billion AIG received in aid, but have these people no conscience (don't answer that, I already know)? I understand these monies were written into employee contracts, but could these contracts have been nullified, as a condition to accepting the federal money?

AIG also has a 300 million dollar ski resort that this is going towards. There has also been report of 13 companies that have received bailout money that OWE 220 million in taxes. we are getting screwed big-time.

There's worse too. My tax man says they will be reducing taxes taken out of pay but if the bailouts fail you may get stuck paying all of the reductions back next tax time. He said you can request they continue taking the same amount out so that if the plan does backfire you can get a rebate. I'm not expecting anything these bailouts do will help us one bit.

Never did trust Tihart. I know some republicans were bitching about that 90% bonus tax being unfair. I'd say it's a hell of alot more unfair that I'm only getting a little over $300 in my federal tax refund after doing my job well all year long and those asshole corporate pigs think they need millions in bonuses for being complete fuckups.
