How the change will happen

LETTER FROM THE BOSS.....

As the CEO of this organization, I have resigned myself to the fact that Barack Obama is our President and that our taxes and government fees will increase in a BIG way. To compensate for these increases, our prices would have to increase by about 10%.

But since we cannot increase our prices right now due to the dismal state of the economy, we will have to lay off six of our employees instead. This has really been bothering me, since I believe we are family here and I didn't know how to choose who would have to go.

So, this is what I did. I walked through our parking lot and found six 'Obama' bumper stickers on our employees' cars and have decided these folks will be the ones to let go.. I can't think of a more fair way to approach this problem. They voted for change, and I gave it to them.

I will see the rest of you at the annual company picnic.

The guy has been president for less than two months, and right-wingers are already retreating into fantasy. Ya'll are gonna be a bunch of basket-cases in a couple years.

But that's job security for the wife. Basket-cases are the bread & butter of any psychotherapy operation.

It's called political humor. Saw it all through both Bush's terms, Willie's, Reagan, Carter, Ford, Nixon, etc., etc. So since you like this current socialist nobody is supposed to talk negative or make fun of him?

Yeah, I feel saved. Just the idea of a 500% tax on ammunition along with a new weapons ban has me concerned. Make weapons and ammo unreachable so that only the government and the criminal will have any. The messiah sounds more like a Judas to me.

Seriously though, I did vote for Obama, I love the jokes but don't really understand the "fear" of him that many exhibit.

And I REALLY don't get the Fox News guys crying, what a bunch of tools. They went from really angry to a bunch of fearful pussies really fast.

The only one I've seen crying is Glenn Beck, and he's been talking about this eventuality for at least two years. Until late last summer, the rest of the media, conservatives included, laughed at him and called him a nut. The only person on the national stage who agreed with him was Ron Paul, who also warned about this collapse during the primary campaign and was also called a nut.

Turns out they weren't as crazy as they were made out to be, huh?

I'm just as pissed as everyone else. I am also not a republican nor democrat (not so much for outmoded labels of failed parties), what I voted for was the ousting of a failed administration. A group of blatantly corrupt puppeteers who lost it's identity and direction. A pack of high school bullies that found out the shit just doesn't work when you enter college. Anymore comparisons I can make for you?

So, kicking and screaming their opposition of the bailout (I am personally opposed to the whole damned thing) for media kicks and cool points among a dying breed of the biased blind who will eventually be devoured by their own party if they ever "get it", the republicans have been in a frenzy because they are a tight knit, tight lipped bloc of sore losers.

I guess you missed Shepard Smith's on air "breakdown". You know how these toolbags work. A bunch of powdered lemmings they are.

Can't remember exactly, it's been the last week or so. He didn't so much cry, he just whimpered and his voice got shaky and he went all high pitched for a few lines. It actually reminded me more of a small child getting denied sweets than an actual breakdown.

A bit rough considering he was giving Beck a hard time.

Are you kidding me? Are you talking about when he was going on about "Glenn Beck Hour" last week (was it Friday?)? Cripes, I watched that. It was funny.
