| Okay, you add these up and it comes up to 10.5 Million dollars out of a 410 Billion dollar bill to keep the Government afloat for the rest of the Fiscal Budget year? Making a mountain out of a molehill isn't he.
Be interesting to see just what party affliation the Senators/Representatives have added these 10 projects to the bill are tied to, wouldn't it?

There is a new candle scent I could do without. Don't care if it is popular in Iowa.

So 10.5 million dollars is a molehill? Okay, you pay for it all out of your own pocket, then. - slider wrote:

Doesn't matter. Wrong is wrong.

| 10.5 million won't even make a dent in the operation of the US Government, it is a speck on the ass of John McCain, why doesn't he and other members of Congress actually do something about it more then just setting on their collective asses in the Bill that will be going to the desk of the President then?
A Presidential Line Item Veto would certainly put some discressionary spending items like that into the trash can where they belong.

| The astronomy in Hawaii may have something to do with telescopes. Many consider that important including me. If there ever is a dangerous asteroid or large meteor headed our way early detection is critical in any possibility of deflecting or destroying it.
As to what party is responsible, I've heard there are both democrats and republicans against the pork, and alot of both for it.

| The honey bee issue is about pollination. It is for the preservation of agriculture.
International trade center in Wyoming is good too. What are the terrorists going to blow up, a couple of gay cowboys and some sheep? ...Oh, I guess it's just one gay cowboy now.
Mormon crickets are parasitic on our agriculture and beavers are flooding and fucking up the water supply on the east coast.
Astronomy is Hawaii. It's government funded everywhere else so why not?
The rest I'm lost on but seriously, it's pennies. Like looking back at the private jet car company bailout thing. The amount of fuel they used equalled the amount of money their companies lost in one minute. Are we really so consumed by idiocy and politics that we must use symbology to make ourselves feel as though we are accomplishing something?

| I agree with increasing honey bees too. Alot of gardeners are complaining about poor pollination in recent years. Most don't realize just how important pollinators are and our overuse of pesticides kills the good bugs too. | |

| Pesticides justoo, pesticides. Numerous pesticide labels warn about using them where bees will be attracted, but our society is pesticide addicted. | |

| You know that and I know that. But the gubmint don't.
They may be looking at finding something bee friendly when they just need to restrict they use to those who are licensed and insured. Then we can sue them for limp lilies.

| There was alot of bee damage done by licensed sprayers before the impact was known. You'd think the guys making the stuff would think ahead more about collateral damage. They do now, but trying to spare the good bugs was never considered to be critical before. Hey, I hit 3000. Wonder if I can get government funding for that? Hmmmm.... My polycarts are the same. I ought to at least get a silver hubcap on one of them. | |

| I'd say "hook nosed Jew" but not real clear on my lineage. Shelby for NC said today let these business bankrupt.....that is how business cleans up....the guys that are setting on their money will scoop it up and run it right for a change....AND on the car makers....it will kill the BAD Unions.
