It's all most like she's saying it on the air as a dare. If you have ever watched, "How I Met Your Mother," the single guy dares the news girl to say things on the air. This lady isn't even chuckling at what she is saying, nor does she skip a beat. Most of the time when a news person says something "funny" they at least giggle and a lot of the times they can't even finish.
