Bail Out Executives Pay...

"The Times went on to list some executives from severely troubled companies — and their current salaries.

Kenneth D. Lewis, the chief executive of Bank of America, took home $5.75 million in salary and bonuses in 2007. His total compensation was around $20 million.

Vikram Pandit, who became chief executive of Citigroup in December of 2007, $3.1 million.

Richard Wagoner, of GM, took a $1.6 million salary. His total compensation was over $14 million."

those poor under-paid , over-worked guys....... I feel so f*cking sorry for them.......

Don't lose sight of the important point of the bailout issue. The corporate execs didn't bail themselves out, our traitorous politicians did.

BO signed an executive order limiting pay of executives in bailed out companies to $500,000 per year.

Meanwhile, BO and his entourage are going to a weekend retreat at a posh resort in Williamsburg, VA at our expense, but he still hasn't bothered to visit ice storm ravaged Kentucky or even do a fly over like Bush did after Katrina. Of course, we know he hates the cold, as evidenced by his keeping the Oval Office "warm enough to grow orchids in there." But these people are suffering just as much as the people of New Orleans were. Then again, a lot of them are just older crackers who live in the hills. They'd rather fix their situation than complain that there hasn't been a symbolic visit by the president. Or maybe there's something more sinister here...
