Denver Broncos fire Mike Shanahan

DENVER – Mike Shanahan, the second longest-tenured NFL coach, was fired by the Denver Broncos on Tuesday after the team lost a three-game lead with three games to go in the AFC West. Shanahan, 56, coached the Broncos since 1995, behind only Tennessee's Jeff Fisher in tenure with one team. He led the Broncos to consecutive Super Bowl victories in 1998 and 1999 and compiled a record of 146-89 with the team.

I seen that coming. He was on the hot seat at the beginning of the season let the coaching carousel go in the NFL. I still predict that Herm Edwards is going to be fired before long.

I heard Herm had a guarenteed extra year for the rebuilding thru the draft, But I also heard he told most his staff to be looking for jobs in 09.

Wish Shannahan would come to the Chiefs and Herm would go back to the jets.

In the case of Denver, I would fire the defensive coodinator, KC, offensive, Raiders, both!
