I haven't had a steak there. The few times I have the opportunity to eat there, I can't get past the burgers. Yum!! I also like the char-broiled veggie shishkebobs and the nifty two-colored mini-loaf of warm bread.

They get close to I-70 in the Ellsworth county area.

At one point on the way to Salina, it looks like there is one right in the middle of interstate. The first time my son saw them, I told him, Geez, I can't believe they put one right in the middle of the road, he looked at me like...Really???? Until we got closer.

I might be going in a few days....why?

I think they can be as dangerous as talking on a cellphone while driving. The turbines are so damn cool looking that I can't help but gawk at them on the way by. I don't mean that as as an advocation of wind farms, but they sure are an impressive sight.

It is very surreal to see those huge turbines with cattle grazing around them.

No, but I crapped myself once.

And they are kind of entertaining at night, just watching the red lights go on and off!!

Really, if you were traveling from another state across the area at night and saw all these red lights (and cant see the windmills, because its, you know, dark out), wouldn't that kind of freak you out?
