Fashion show at the Fox Pavilion- 1202 Main St- 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon- 785-628-1100 or 785-625-7476- Ticket Price: $12.00. Ticket includes fahion show, brunch, raffle prizes, silent acution and coupons for Bildschon Haus, Bildschon Baby and Simply Charmed. This will be the grand opening event for Bildschon Baby and will have both women's and children's fashion sizes 0-6x modeled. All proceeds from the event will go to assist the community assistance center.

www.hayspublib.org Local lovers of art, books, and food are joining forces and talents to mount Hays' 2nd edible book display as part of the International Edible Book Festival, which takes place annually on April 1. Participants create edible books that are exhibited, documented and then consumed. View

Participants create edible books that are exhibited, documented, then consumed. The only rule is to make edible art that has something to do with books as shapes and/or content. Participants should deliver their edible book entries to the Hays Public Library Gallery on Friday, April 4th from 3-5 pm and Saturday April 5th from 9-11 am. There is no entry fee.
Judging will take place Saturday from 11:30 to 12:30. The exhibit will be open for public viewing from 1-4 pm. There will be a Taster's Choice Award and also an Eye Candy award given in both the adult and youth categories. Prizes range from Hays Area Chamber bucks gift certificates to Amazon.com gift certificates.Awards will presented at 4 pm and eating of the books will take place after the awards are presented until 5 pm. VFW Auxiliary Craft Fair - VFW Hall - 22nd & Vine - 9 am-3 pm - 785-625-6006 - $1 Admission Fee - Crafters will be exhibiting a wide variety of decorative items, clothing, arts and crafts, jewelry, seasonal items, wood, small quilts, bath products, kitchen items & natural products. Other items include: herbs & spices, smelly jellies, wind chimes, The Tin Man, gemstone jewelry, wire bracelets, crochet, T-towels, Enchanted Charms, low-carb/healthy coffees & much more. The Auxiliary ladies will serve traditional German foods, sandwiches, cinnamon rolls, dessert, coffiee and tea. New craft exhibitors are expected and a bake sale by the Auxiliary will include: kuchen, pies, cakes, breads and many other goodies. Door prizes given away. Proceeds help veterans programs and local charities.
