Forsure dogs are so cool.

My dog would have done the same thing. Yup. Yes, sir. He would have layed there and let another dog rescue him.

Animals are loyal. That mother cat that went back in a burning home to save her kittens is another example. All the kittens got out unburned thanks to her, but she was severely burned. But she healed and was adopted by one of the vets. Then there's the loyalty a pair of doves has. When one is hit by a car the mate often stays by it's side till it also gets hit. Saw the same thing happen with a pair of racoons.

Do animals have souls?

If you mean as in the afterlife type, you'll have to ask a dead person, or a dead dog. Or maybe Pat Robertson will get on his private God phone and ask for you presuming you give him a "modest" $$$$$$$$$$ donation.
