Seeking Vertical Axis Wind Turbine plans

I've been looking online and can't find much, but I was wondering if anyone had ever seen plans for a vertical axis wind turbine. They are supposed to be pretty easy to build and put on your home, but I haven't found a place to get the plans for free. I've seen some books online that might have plans, but they've been pretty expensive and I can't find anything around here so I can look at it and see if it's clear enough for a novice to build.

I'm looking for plans or suggestions on what book to buy!

Although, I may have my brother take a look at it. He's a whiz with a welder. If he thinks we can build it, we may have to see what kind of permit Hays requires to put one up.
