67601.com for sale on e-bay

67601.com, name rights only, are listed for sale on e-bay! The last time this happened, no one did anything with the domain name and Michael took it back and reopened it.

hmm I even tried to email him aboutu buying the old site....

I just noticed this also. I'm curious to see what's going to happen with the old site.

The last time nothing happened until a year had passed. Then Michael was able to take it back and start it up again.

I wasn't meaning this time around on e-bay. The first time around that it was listed on e-bay (a couple of years ago), there were business owners that wanted him to close shop and he did because there were possible lawsuits involved.

I really think everyone needs to be cautious how they say things from now on. No jokes about anyone and make sure anything said is proven or provable. Insinuations or accusations without proof will probably get deleted fairly quick here though, so hopefully that's not a big issue. Of course Washington politics and Hollywood are still fair game.

This whole thing just leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

If comments I have made offended anyone, I'm sorry. But other statements I made are provable. Ask the child whos mother told him she wants nothing to do with him anymore. Washington politics and Hollywood should also be off limits, because that is hear-say.

I'd like to see the thing run as an LLC owned entity with about 9 people on the board and one person to run it. It needs to get paid for with subscriptions or ad revenue. If a reasonable sum is not enough to get it at auction, there are a lot of domain names available which are nearly as memorable.

The name is worth something because it has been widely publicized. Only the faithful will find this place, because of the URL

It can't be that big of a deal to buy some software, can it?

the way I understand it (and I haven't looked it up on Ebay yet) is that the auction on Ebay is for the Domain name...
The software he's talking about might be a separate thing all together that one would need to run the website.
Please correct me if I'm wrong... there is a good possibility I am also confused! It happens to me as well NB!

All your buying is the words "67601.com" you have to then transfer it to a domain host.

Example, if you went to GoDaddy.com and tried to register the domain name 67601.com it would come back as unavailable, you are buying the rights to that name.

A friend told me 67601.com was on eBay and sure enough, here it is:

Thats a bit ridiculous for a domian name, considering they can be picked up for like 6-9 bux a pop. I dont get it, but if it helps Michael recoup some of the money he put into the old board thats cool.
