How can you not know what Dark Knight is?

I swear this is the single most UN movie going board Ive ever seen. And I dont mean that as an insult, Im just shocked by it.

It was a Dark and Stormy Knight...

I rarely go to movies, I like to wait until they come out on DVD. I like being able to sit in my comfy chair, in my pajamas, drink a beer and eat cheap(er) popcorn. I made an exception with Sex and the City because the girls felt we needed a day out.

I'll probably wait until it's out on Dish PPV for the same reasons SlumberGirl mentioned, except the beer...blech.

I don't know what movies at the theater cost you there, but in Topeka, last time I went, it was $8.50 for a ticket.

Just picked up my tix for tomorrow night. Good thing as they are almost sold out already.

Nito, Im German and I go to many movies like this.

Now see Slumber, I wouldnt have went to that movie if someone had paid for my ticket. Just not a SITC fan.

The Joker is supposed to be a brooding statement of pure evil. Sounds almost good enough for me to sit through in a theater. Wish we still had the Drive In.

I think the prices here are similar (I'm thinking $7.00 regular admission) although when we went to Sex in the City here we went to an early afternoon movie that was $4.00. Doubt we'll be doing any Dinner and a Movie nights, but perhaps Movie then dinner afternoons!

I should clairfy that here is Shawnee, not Hays. I can't say what the ticket prices are in Hays.

They still have the "billboard" looking thing outside of Lacrosse where they had their drive in theater. I wish we still had one too. Lots of good memories at the drive in!!

Went tonight. This was so good, Im going again tomorrow. Easily the best movie Ive seen this year.

Without the amazing performance of Heath Ledger as The Joker (and they who wrote the part), to me it would have been just another fancy, redneck shoot'em up, albeit a pretty neat one.

Yeah SciFi, if I would go it would be to see Ledger's portrayal of The Joker.
