Makes for a four day weekend, like when July 4th is on a Thursday. Or Christmas. Having it fall on a Tuesday would have the same effect. You just have to avoid those apocalypes that happen on Wednesdays. Too much stress with the world ending and having to work the day before and the day after.

How about this scenario. McCain beats Obama, but he decides not to run for a secoind term. Hillary gets her second chance and comes through, winning the presidency for the Democrats for the first time in twelve years, only to have the world end, thereby denying her lifelong dream.
