And as a disclaimer, I'm not anti-christian... I just feel that organized religion is something that the human race will hopefully soon be evolved out of needing... it was needed in the days before science, when Chuck the caveman needed to explain why Dave the caveman got hit by lightning after killing a boar, it was obvious that a man in the sky liked boars and they were special to him. If you kill one, you get hit by lightning, easy as that. After a smarter caveman realized he could get the other cavemen to do what he wanted because he talks to the man in the sky, religion followed. Not any one in particular, just a pattern I've noticed.

I'm actually in the middle of a crisis of unfaith actually... I was exposed a few years back to another religion that I can come to terms with, and there is actually a higher power in it... I may be converting to Pastafarianism and follow the Flying Spaghetti Monster... that's right, I've been touched by his noodly appendage. It explains everything, global warming, pirates, the "theory" of gravity, intelligent design, even why we're taller as a species now than we were hundreds of years ago... and Pastafarian heaven has a stripper factory and a beer volcano, so mad props on that...

I wonder if the FSM would take offense to me not viewing him as a deity but more an incorporeal buddy...

One thing about the FSM. No other religion has a catch phrase that sounds as good as "Touched by his noodly appendage".

That photo says alot. A liberal could just blame the evil gun, which in the neurotic liberals mind has a life of it's own and it casts evil spells that causes men to pick them up and kill. But the typical Christian isn't anti-gun and many of the ever paranoid Christ cult feel guns to be a tool from God. Quite ironic....
