So whats the story on the old Mr Goodscents building. heard lots of rumors. I did see an ad in the classifieds, help wanted section, for a pay day loan at new location. Please tell me it isn't so. I find it hard to believe that Old Navy would go into our Hays Mall, I would think they would want to build North of the Interstate if they were going any where here.
I guess I will belive it when I see it!

I don't know the facts, can only speculate, maybe too much competition, Jimmy Johns and 2 subways with $5 footlongs along with the current economy, people will sacrifice a little quality for a little more bang for their buck, at least, I know I do.
I doubt if they were tired of the business, they were just a young couple, the over head might have been too much of a struggle for them, like I said. I don't have a clue, just my opinion. Our family also enjoyed Goodscents, I wish them luck in the future

The people at Mr. Goodcents actually got involved in that business because of their daughter who I believe no longer lives here. They had gotten to a point where it just wasn't something they wanted to continue. I think they tried to sell it but had no success.

I was in Salina the other day, they now have a Longhorns by the Kohls. Dont think its open just yet.
