No, it can't end in a tie. But no Super Bowl has ever gone into overtime. Maybe this will be the first. When they played each other in the regular season last year, Pittsburgh won, 37-36, on a last second touchdown. Hopefully this game will be as good. I don't really care who wins. I'm just glad that neither the Chiefs or Jets are there. |

Or the motor that closes the stadium roof could burn out before they get it shut for the game. Watching Jerry Jones melt down would be entertaining.
Maybe the halftime show should feature all the women Benji Roethlesberger has groped. |

| I left the radio on one of the hubbies sports talk channels the other day and I heard another sports analyist say that it was quite likely that fervor would appear dressed as a cheerleader. The rest of it was confusing. I like GB to win. But have no vested interest either way. |

| When I was a kid I liked Green Bay for awhile. I also liked the Redskins for awhile. Don't ask me why, because I was a kid then and who knows what made the difference. Maybe a friend liked them, or maybe my dad or grandad did.
Green Bay was the big name in the 60's so that's probably why I liked them. Maybe liking the Redskins later was all to do with Lombardi coaching both teams. But I was in gradeschool so what the color of their jersey was or thinking they had a cool name could have been the only deciding factor.
So for the nostalgia of my childhood, and considering the freak snow in Texas reminded me of the famous 1967 Ice Bowl when they beat Dallas for another trip to the Superbowl, I'll say Green Bay. |

None of these bets are legal for a sports book to take in this country, even in Nevada. Since they have nothing to do with the play on the field, they can only be bet legally outside the United States.
Making a ten million dollar bet on the length of the national anthem after agreeing to split the winnings with Aguilera if she does an really long rendition would be tempting to some. Vegas don't like that. |

So the guys taking bets on games out of bar bathrooms rooms or the back seat of a car in a parking lot are legal bookies? |

It was part of the pre-game show.
Green Bay deserved the win. Great game.
Green Bay coach Mike McCarthy got his coaching start at FHSU under Bob Cortez, back when they had a real football program. The first touchdown of the game was scored by Riley, KS native Jordy Nelson. He went to K-State, but he's recovered from that. |

If you mean the Joan Rivers one I'm still attempting to keep my stomach settled from that one. I liked bringing grandpa back by sprinkling Doritos on his ashes. The cane toss to the kid was good too. There were none though that were truly spectacular |

The other Doritos one, where the guy sucks his co-worker's finger then licks another guy's pants, was a blatant appeal to the gay viewers.
And the Mini Cooper "Cram It In the Boot" ad was an obvious reference to anal sex.
Then there was the Pepsi Max "I wanna sleep with her" ad.
At least they're not hiding it anymore. |

I alternated between the pre-game show and the Celtics game so I could watch the interview. He wouldn't even answer the question about who he thought would win. Said he was just rooting for a good game.
O'Reilly did thank him for his and Hillary's help in securing the safety of the Fox News reporter and cameraman who were attacked in the streets of Cairo after their hotel room was bombed with a molotov cocktail. |

| I'm still wondering what talking about politics has to do with a Superbowl pre-game show. Other than it was Fox and there was a chance for O'Reilly to stir political crap.
I watched Ghost Hunters before the game and during halftime. And I really wish now that I'd have left it on Ghost Hunters until "after" Christina Aguilera butchered the National Anthem. Why does every pop star think they have to warble and screech like a tone deaf black woman? |

The pre-game show doesn't usually get good ratings. They were going against a marquee NBA game (Boston vs. Orlando) on ABC and Wisconsin vs. Michigan State on CBS. Plus, listening to Terry Bradshaw, Jimmy Johnson and Michael Strahan for four hours could drive some viewers to shoot themselves. They never gave a definite time for the interview, then teased it all through the show. Probably helped the ratings. |
