"Turning Over Operations"

BO's speech tonight sounded a lot better the first time I heard it, when it was called "Nixon's Vietnamization Speech". And we all know how well that worked out.

Didn't listen to it. If it's about Iraq I already know the outcome. I knew the outcome the first time Bush gave a speech about how wonderful Iraq was going to be if we did everything by his plan. The reality is that eventually we pull out, a power struggle immediately begins, and Iraq gets taken back over by another nut.

I just hope the next nut in charge wants to sell oil to us instead of Russia so we won't have to go free the citizens of Iraq again.

Once we outta there for good, it'll be a bloodbath. Hard to say exactly when as our withdrawal has been and will be very gradual... but it's only a matter of time.

Yep, the rival factions will resume their games and our efforts will probably only serve to put an idiot more radical than Saddam in power.

Hell they don't even have electricty have of the time. Under Saddam aleast they had power

Under Saddam women could go to school and didn't have to cover their faces. Iraq was about as westernized as any Muslim nation. We'll see just how much we helped "free" Iraq if some clown like Bin Laden gets control.
