| Are you ready for some football? Unfortunately, The Broncos look like they might suck this year. And so do the Chefs. The Faiders look improved, but who are we kidding? Al will find a way to screw them up. San Diego could probably win the AFC West at 7-9. So who has Super Bowl picks? slickjay? Be realistic. Think with your head. As a Faider fan, we know you have no heart anyway. All the press in the AFC seems to be going to the Bengals and the Jets. But Tony Dungy predicted on NBC last night that the Jets would start 0-2 (they play Baltimore and New England). Of course, the press in the NFC is all picking the Minnesota soap opera to win. Now, for my picks. I'm going with a rematch of the Super Bowl from a few years ago - Giants vs. Patriots. I don't know why, exactly. Just a feeling. But I could be wrong. These picks usually are. On the college football front, defending champion Alabama is at the top of every poll. I don't have a particular team, other than rooting for KU, and they may not fair so well this year. I'd like to see Nebraska and Colorado tie each other and both lose every other game, though. Bastards. So this year I'm going to pull for Boise State to again run the table and see if they can force the pricks at the BCS to put them in the title game. The Big 12 has Texas, Oklahoma and the Cornholers in the Top Ten. UT and OU even got a first place vote each. Here's the link to the AP Poll. | |

| So when you talk about your favorite team, do you refer to them as "we"? | |

You notice that too? You also notice how that often changes when the team sucks? Got a guy at work like that and self inclusion or not depends on the game outcome. If the team does good he'll get all pumped up and say "Man did you see that game? We sure whipped their ass". But if the team sucks he says "That was embarrassing. Those guys played like shit last night".

No. And I routinely ask people who do that what position they play on the team.

Not as bad as Brady Quinn. KOA radio said that the team's original plan was to keep Orton this year, then have Quinn next year in case Tebow wasn't ready. After seeing Quinn in training camp, they signed Orton to an extension. Last night they were speculating on whether Quinn will make the cuts today and Saturday.

| I good quote about Ben Rapistburger
After the public urinating at the golf course issue came up, someone wrote about Roethlisberger that poor Ben is so confused. He has sex in a toilet and pees in a bush. (The latter is okay if it's a Texas Bush)....... She said NO!

Is that your prediction for November and December? Yep...Denver still blows! They got their asses handed to them by the Raiders at their home field They're 4-13 since their big start last year. Josh McDaniels drove off the best wide receiver in the NFL. He got rid of a very good tight end for supporting a teammate. He wasted a first round pick on a QB who everyone else had projected to be a third or fourth round pick. The defense is ridiculous. More like non-existent. No sacks. No run stops. Other than Champ, the secondary couldn't cover a dead body if you gave them a sheet. If it sounds like I'm describing the Lions of two years ago, that's the direction they appear to be headed. They never should have fired Shanahan. It's time for McDaniels to join Harry Reid in the unemployment line.
