Just wondering why we don't either go for a win or get out. Bush didn't start this one. They did. This was the US's response to 9/11, although we were told that it would be to root out the Taliban and Al Qaeda, then get out. Then again, we were told that we'd only be in Bosnia for six months and we're still there.

We all know that our continued presence there is only to try to ensure the flow of oil. Before Three Mile Island, the United States had a goal of 2000 nuclear energy plants by the year 2000. Had the government not bent over for the environmentalist extremists, we wouldn't give a rat's ass about Afghanistan.

I agree, Bush didn't start the Afghan war. He only focused on a guy he hated more in another country with quote "the richest oil reserves in the world". Has Obama improved anything? No, he's only playing the same half assed game that's become so popular.

I say we take a lesson from Hitler's SS. Level any Taliban held city. Kill every living thing, burn the town to ash, and bulldoze over the top of what's left. And a mass burial of all the dead Taliban mixed with dead pigs, broadcast on every major newscast might be a nice touch.
