That would be a burglary, not a robbery. You know these things if you've ever lived in Topeka. There are several of each on the news every day.

Holy cow! I quit when they were $24.00/carton because it was getting too expensive! I can't imagine paying $50+ per. Yikes!

I remember complaining when I went on a Texas trip in the 70's and they were 70 cents a pack in OK and up to 85 cents a pack in TX. They were 50 and 55 cents a pack in Hays then. Before Big Bro decided to stick the gluttonous government vacuum nozzle into the tobacco industry they sold for 5 to 10 cents a pack.

Yeah, and they try to tell us that the poor man pays no taxes. What crap. Something really needs to be done. I feel the recession here now.

I drove by Indian Market convenience store this morning... it's on Hwy 75, on the "Rez" (reservation)... there was a sign that said cigarettes are $18.50/carton. They didn't have any brands listed, so it may be some funky Indian tobacco. afro

But the simplest solution is to (more or less) quit smoking. Though I did buy a pack at a bar the other day. Cost me $7. pig

yeah but the perfect time to break into houses is during the day when most occupants and nieghbors are at work....at least that is what happened to me in topeka, cops said the break in happened around 10am....how they figured that is anyones guess.
