Ellis is a good fireworks town. Lots of locals spend alot of bucks on aerials. But you can get damn nice aerials cheaper than when I was a kid because everything then was one shot. It really cut the cost and improved home shows when they started selling the load your own aerials.

I remember in the latter 60's and early 70's a good quality one shot aerial could cost several dollars. Even simple small ones were often a couple bucks. Now a nice aerial in those reusable tube deals is about 2 bucks a shot. Compare $2 for just a so so shot in 1970 to $2 for a nice shot now and we got it pretty good.

$2 in 1970 took 2-2.5 hours to earn at the Sonic. It now takes about 20 min.

Ellis had a good show provided by the Locals, not sure i seen the Ellis city show if there was one??


Why didnt Hays have their fireworks last night, I dont understand!!!!!

Hays decided to do it tonight. Too tough to get everybody from the concert in time to see the fireworks.

I figure it's a plus. You could shoot your own and watch the locals last night and still not miss the big Hace deal. I'm always kinda depressed when a big holiday is over too fast, and this adds a day.

Hell i just sat on my front porch and watched all the kiddes blow shit up. One of my neighbors kids bought a 10,000 roll of Black cats that son of a Rose O' Donnell went for like 8 mins.
