Philips Electronics said it will cut 4,500 jobs as it reported an 85% slump in third-quarter net profit



Isn't there a Phillips Electric plant in Salina? I wonder if it will affect them?

They make light bulbs in Salina. If they make the old school bulbs, business should be booming right now. After the first of the year, you'll only be able to buy the CFLs (Curly Fry Lights).
