Back to Dubai

After seven long months I am finially able to get back to work, glad to get away from the cold but wish i didnt have to go half way around the world to do it. after a few days of safety courses its on to Qatar and off shore to lay some pipe, wish i would have listened to mom a took up a proper profession.

No joke there, huh? One of my nephews worked in Kuwait for a year (as a private contractor... not sure what he did) and made more in that one year than he did in the previous 4 years combined. The money's good, but the concern for safety is constant.

as long as my moma believes that i am a piano player in a cat house it will be alright, if she ever finds out that i am just offshore trash i am in big trouble.

actually i am now in qatar for the piano players playoff or waiting for a boat or chopper to take me to work.
