High fructose corn syrup may be hazardous to our health

On the rare occasion I drink soda, it's diet, so I'm used to putting my life in the soda manufacturer's hands (my own, for buying it), by consuming aspartame.

I am not a big pop drinker anymore tho I do on occaision have a pepsi or mt dew when dining out.

Yes, yes.........its gotten to the point that damn near everything has some additive etc or other that leads to cancer or will kill you. I am amazed that humanity has managed to make it as far as it has. Sheesh. I quit paying attention to this stuff after the big Red Dye scare years ago.

Can't find it listed on my coffee can or any of my beer bottles.

Yeah L2C, it's amazing we don't all turn into big piles of rotting fungus.

But here's an interesting fact I found out from wound care specialists. Eating too much sugar inhibits the healing process. While some sugar is needed, in excess it has a negative affect on the immune system.

so rat, does that mean coffee and beer could be considered health food?

Take it from a diabetic HFCS is way hard on your system. To hard to digest....and it will rot your body parts.

Thats ok, I too am diabetic but really, Im not going to sanitize my life to the point that I dont enjoy the things I want to enjoy to some extent. Besides that Im literally addicted to Pepsi and while it may kill me one day at least I'll die happy.

I know a diabetic that follows his morning insulin with a pepsi and a few other sugary goodies. If he doesn't he goes down.

I have to avoid high fructose, sugary juice, pop, syrup of any kind...pesis taste like syrup to me. Makes me have blind spots and feel confused.

We can see where your mind is at... LOL I am a BAD speller but I try not to be. Not all computers have the spell check,darn it!!

I'm lucky I can spell. When I do misspell a word it's usually one that gets spelled wrong alot so not too many notice. I think you probably can spell better, you just type too fast on some posts and don't read before sending. My sisters always type fast and never look up at what they typed till after they hit send. Some of their emails look like another language.

Oh no I,m a bad speller but I too don't look before I send. I have to put my glasses on before I send an e-mail other wise there is no telling what I'm trying to say! Just as long as you don't think pepis is a penis we all will be OK!!!!LOL~~~~~
