yeah,this is the first child abudction/murder I remember from being a kid.I have probably watched the movie Adam 20 times.It's just too bad there was no closure for the family till now.At least one good thing came out of it though-Americas Most Wanted

There is closure. The guy died in prison from cirrhosis in 1996, which is a nasty death. While I agree that good has come from it such as the advances in finding missing klids, I also agree with the criminologist who says that it's caused children to fear all adults and has caused parents to become excessively paranoid about their childs safety. Being aware is good, but paranoia isn't.
