I am needing large pieces (full room sized) of jute back carpet (grid backed not spongy backing) to use on a project. The condition of the carpet does not matter, stains, whatever are OKAY! If you have old carpet or are replacing carpet mp me and if is what I need I will haul it away for you FREE!!!! cheers

I noticed the neighbor pulling old carpet out of a rental house,.The puke and dog piss smell emanating from it was horrible.You for sure certain stains are okay?

We are using it as a barrier between a layer of sand and mulch for a playground. The carpet will lie beneath 4-5" of mulch.

Just a little tip...

Spray the carpet liberally with an ammonia mixture before you put it beneath the mulch. Neighborhood cats will use your playground as a giant "kitty box", if they smell pet pee in the carpet you use.

We've decided to nix the carpet idea, we are going to use a greenhouse type tarp!
