I am needing someone with a snake to come over and unclog my drains. I cant afford roto rooter.........does anyone have a snake?????CAN anyone help!!!!!

its my main drain from the washer to the kitchen sink!!!! it backs up every time i do laundry causing it to over flow, then it leaks into the basement, where my boys sleep!!!

You can try some gel drain opener, it may or may not do it. My wash machine drain plugs alot. I need a bigger drain pipe. I have one of those cheap snakes if that'd help.

I need a bigger drain pipe too!!!!! I dont know if it would help, does it help yours? Ive tried everything at the Ellis store that they offer to help with the drain, but no luck!!!

Jeremy's snake sure won't turn tight in a small pipe.

I have had good luck with the foaming pipe cleaners. open the drains up simple and easy

I got some acid from Orscheln. Worked great,smells terrible.

Careful with the acids. Dilute Sulfuric and Hydrochloric AKA Muriatic are fairly safe, but stronger sulphuric can put off fumes that can erode teeth. And don't even think of nitric acid or metal pipes will go bye bye and you might too.

Avoid exotic acids like Hydroflouric too. Hydroflouric can be bought for etching or cleaning sick glass, but it's highly dangerous if mishandled. In strong concentrations it will penetrate skin and seek out calcium. I met a Union Pacific man once who had several bones in his hand dissolved by it. Stay with lower strength Sulfuric or Hydrochlorics.

If you try acids NEVER mix them with anything else and take proper precautions as prescribed on the container.
